Lactation Sensation is the brain child of Tonya and Jason Futrell. As a woman that has breastfeed three little humans, Tonya can be considered an “authority” on the matter. At the very least, she’s a milk fairy! Jason handles the logistics and provides the humor. You might be asking yourself why the Futrells started a boobie business. It simply boils down to personal need.
Tonya had her first child in her 20’s and knew right away that she wanted to breastfeed. Milk production seemed easy and one could describe her experience as smooth sailing. Imagine being so good at it that you earn the label of overachiever. Once an overachiever, always an overachiever, right?
No, ma’am.
What happened next?
Fast forward seven years later, Tonya welcomed her second child in her 30’s. You could believe that once someone excels, they always excel. However, it appears that the boobies didn't receive the memo. One might describe Tonya’s milk production as “just enough.” How many babies do you know accept “just enough?”
Tonya delivered her last child at the beautiful age of 43 and has described her breastfeeding journey this time around as the “most difficult experience.” Problems ranged from latching difficulties to milk production. That coveted stash of frozen milk seemed like a improbability and any momma knows, that cuts you deep to your core.
Lactation Sensation was born from Tonya’s need to create more milk and her passion to help other mothers that may be struggling as well. Between recipe generation and power pumping, Tonya is on a mission to help you with your breastfeeding journey, sharing her knowledge and offering support. What’s that saying… it takes a village!

Lactation Sensation does not mass produce products, meaning our goodies are more potent, effective and vigorous than something that has sat on a shelf. Making our mixes in small batches allows us to ship to your door with fresher ingredients. Not only does it taste amazing, but it hasn’t degraded over time. We call this a win/win scenario.

Packaging is all natural with an FDA food grade liner and sealed professionally with heat to protect the integrity of the ingredients. Anti-oil on the inside to help prevent caking, and waterproof on the outside (because we know accidents happen when you’re raising little humans). Gluten free, dairy free, fenugreek free ingredients that are organic. Can we say, yum yum?

Artisan ingredients that are sourced directly within the US. Having to travel less distance means less fillers and more nutrition. Lactation Sensation does not shop at the local grocery store. Our products are sourced from the finest, restaurant quality ingredients. And are on average 2x bigger than our leading competitors. More milk equals happy baby!
